ABOUT VOLTACREMA

A boutique built
around a question.

Why does the ultra-premium espresso category — alone among luxury verticals — have no trusted advisor?

Wine has its sommeliers. Watches have their concierges. Automobiles have their dealers, designers, and consultants. Every other luxury segment has trusted advisors who help affluent buyers navigate complex acquisitions.

Espresso has Reddit threads.

VOLTAcrema is the answer to that gap. A curated digital boutique for the world's finest espresso machines, built around editorial integrity and personal advisory rather than catalogue volume. Eight machines. Three deliberately narrow tiers. One standard.

An espresso machine is not a kitchen appliance. It is a piece of equipment that, properly chosen, will define a daily ritual for the next ten to twenty years of your life.

Most retailers in this category sell you the machine and leave the rest to you. Water filtration. Grinder pairing. Installation. Daily care. Service network. The accessories that determine whether your shots taste extraordinary or merely good. The buyer who has thought through all of it before the purchase is rare. The buyer who hasn't is the one we serve.

We carry no inventory. We process no payments. Your machine is fulfilled directly by the manufacturer with factory warranty intact. You pay the same as you would direct from the brand. What VOLTAcrema provides — and what most retailers do not — is the considered intelligence around the acquisition itself. The decision. The configuration. The ecosystem.

Why I built this.

My name is Ezra Schepis. I have spent over a decade in consultative sales — first in retail at the highest end of a high-ticket category, where I earned back-to-back President's Club Awards for surpassing $1 million in annual sales, and currently in private banking, where I manage a portfolio of business clients through relationship-based selling.

VOLTAcrema began with a frustration. I had been researching the espresso category for myself for years, and the more I researched, the more obvious the gap became. The brands at the top of this category — La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino, Slayer — produce machines that any serious buyer should consider. But finding someone to help you navigate between them, configured for your life, with your kitchen, your skill level, your priorities — that someone did not exist.

So I built VOLTAcrema. A curated boutique with a deliberately narrow point of view. The machines I would recommend to my closest friend, my most demanding client, and my own kitchen. Editorial commentary on each. Specific grinder pairings. Care and maintenance guidance. An emerging national network of vetted plumbers, technicians, and roasters to support you wherever you live.

I am not a barista. I am not the technical expert who has spent twenty years dialing in shots. What I am is a sales professional who has spent his career guiding affluent buyers through high-stakes purchase decisions, and who has chosen this category because it deserves what I can bring to it.

I work with a small circle of trusted advisors with deep technical expertise — including specialty café operators, certified service technicians, and lifelong baristas — to ensure the editorial integrity of every recommendation. The decision-making framework is mine. The technical depth comes from people who have lived in this category for decades.

THE COMPANY

VOLTAcrema, LLC

VOLTAcrema is a Minnesota limited liability company, founded in 2026 and registered in St. Paul. We operate digitally, with no physical retail location. Every interaction begins with a private advisory enquiry — typically by email or scheduled conversation — and proceeds through configuration, manufacturer ordering, and delivery coordination.

We are an affiliate boutique. We do not hold inventory. We do not process retail transactions. Every machine is fulfilled directly by the manufacturer or their authorized distributor. We earn a commission on sales completed through manufacturer partner programs at no additional cost to you.
